DICKERSON, Chester G. - Putnam

Funeral services for Chester G. Dickerson, 53, who died at his home Wednesday morning of last week, were held at the Chastain funeral home here Friday afternoon. Burial was made in Roachdale cemetery. Mr. Dickerson was born near here August 31, 1888, the son of James and Elizabeth Kyle Dickerson. He had been engaged in the construction buisness for the past thirty years. Survivors include the widow, three daughters: Delores, Marjorie and Mary at home; Mrs. Blanche Sadler, of Martinsville, sons; Walter, Hobert, Robert, a brother Don Dickerson of Orlando, Florida   ---- thanks so very much to Marilyn W. for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated !
